MSC Volunteer Recognition Award
The Mississauga Soccer Club (MSC) Volunteer Recognition Program is a meaningful way to provide recognition for outstanding performance and contributions by a volunteer who has played an instrumental role in supporting programs at MSC. Individuals volunteer for many reasons: personal growth, personal achievement, to create social bonds and strengthen their community. MSC will award two of these outstanding individuals per year, one during the indoor season one during the outdoor season, who demonstrate the values of MSC.
How does the program work?
MSC will accept nominations on-line (See link below) from members of the MSC community. These nominees must meet the following criteria
The nominee must be
- 1.A current volunteer (Coach, assistant coach, trainer, manager, administrator, convener, or parent helping out);
- 2.Not paid in any capacity by the Club;
- 3.Demonstrate team work, and leadership;
- 4.Uphold the values of the MSC;
What are the selected nominees awarded?
The selected nominee will be given a letter of recognition from the board of directors, and a gift certificate to a local community business. The award will be handed out at the finals day of our indoor and outdoor season.
