The Mississauga Soccer Club is excited to launch the new Referee Development Program!
As a first step towards an excellence in refereeing, we’d like to introduce the courses for NEW REFEREES 2012.
If you’re 14 years old by March 31st, 2012 or older, you should take the ENTRY LEVEL REFEREE COURSE.
Entry Level Referee Course – May 11th, 12th and 13th

This course is for those aspiring referees who are 14 years of age (by March 31st, 2012) and older.
Entry Level Clinic is a 3 day clinic and participants must attend all 3 sessions to be eligible to pass. Cost of the clinic is $100 and includes a full referee kit (jersey, shorts, socks, whistle, flags and cards).
The clinic will be held on May 11th, 12th and 13th - (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
- Friday, May 11th (6:30-9:30pm)
- Saturday, May 12th (9:00am-5pm)
- Sunday, May 13th (9:00am-5pm)
Participants of this course will become certified Ontario Soccer Association Youth Referee or Canadian Soccer Association District Referee. You will be eligible to referee all mini 7 v 7 and 11 v 11 Youth games. In addition you will also be eligible to be an Assistant Referee. Please note that there is both an In Class and Practical components of this course.
Note: there is a minimum two year age difference between the referee and the age group being covered. For example a 14 year old referee can ONLY officiate 8 -12 year old players.
